    The monastery offers a wide range of services to suit the needs of our visitors, either complementing the visit with further information or making it more accessible to all types of groups.

  • Families

    The Monastery of Pedralbes welcomes the family public. Families who visit it will discover a heritage site brimming with history that bears witness to the daily life of the community.

  • Booking activities

    The information and booking service, open Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm, manages organised activities and visits for adults, families and school groups during the museum opening times.

  • Rental of spaces

    Through the Institute of Culture of Barcelona the monastery rents out the following spaces for groups and special events: the cloister, the refectory, the Assembly Roomand the Skylight Room.

  • How to get here

    Faraway from the bustle of the city at the foot of the hill of Sant Pere Màrtir, the monastery is easily reached using Barcelona’s public transport network or private transport.


On May 28th the last stage of the restoration of the St Michael’s Chapel will begin. The chapel will be closed for a year. Enjoy the last days to visit it before it's too late!
